This coffee comes from the Gachatha Coffee Factory in Nyeri, on the slopes of Aberdare. The cooperative has existed since 1963 and today brings together more than 1500 producers. It's a classic Kenyan lava: fermented overnight, washed and dried on raised beds. Everything is done with great precision, with well-managed water and a community that takes coffee seriously – clean, vibrant and full of energy.
